•Sending an email that contain protected student information within the email or attached documents

•Student paper(s) lying on the ground or heavy-traffic areas around campus.

•Graded papers lying a public place for students to pick up.

•Class lists/rosters that include a student name, IDs, etc. for attendance purposes.

•Seeking personal benefit or allowing others to benefit personally by knowledge of any confidential student record information.

•Telling a person who doesn't have a legitimate educational interest where a particular student's class is located or where the student can be found.
