Term: Tendon
Definition: Collection of the fascia, what connects the muscle to bones.
Card 2:
Term: Fascia
Definition: Connection tissue surrounding muscles that helps maintain muscle shape and gathers to create tendons.
Card 3:
Term: Fascicles
Definition: Groupings of muscle fibers (cells) within the muscle.
Card 4:
Term: Muscle fibers (cells)
Definition: Single, elongated muscle cells. Groupings of them help make up fascicles. Whole muscle is made out of multiple fascicles.
Card 5:
Term: Origin
Definition: Muscle attachment to more stationary bone.
Card 6:
Term: Insertion
Definition: Muscle attachment to more moveable bone.
