Description

This course leads students to become familiar with the process and benefits of reflection, as well as with NMC’s
Educated Citizen learning goals: the Reflective Individual, the Effective Communicator and the Change Agent. In written
critical reflections, students revisit experiences to reflect on their identity as Educated Citizens and to set goals to build
on this identity. This course prepares each student for the final Educated Citizen synthesis to be completed near the
end of the program.
Credits: 1.0
Prerequisites: Either entered NMC with a bachelor's degree or took a 3-credit public speaking course and a 3-credit
critical thinking course
