Summer Graduation 2015

Email Access Change

Starting on April 20th, in order to access your NMC email account, you will need to go to https://portal.bestcare.org and then log in with your network username and password. Then, simply click the icon titled "Outlook Web Access".

Accessing Library Resources On Campus

If you are attempting to access library journals or database while on the NMC campus and are having issues, please see the attached picture that shows you how to verify the auto-detect option is checked in Internet Explorer for proxy settings. If this is NOT checked, then you will likely encounter issues.

All students are provided with a network username and password permitting access to the My Methodist portal, Outlook Web Access (e-mail), and campus computer login.   
 

Test your Login the week before classes start 
  • Make sure you login to your NMC e-mail and My Methodist the week before classes begin. Logging in during the week (M-F) to verify you're able to sign-in takes only a moment and may save you a lot of stress over the weekend. 

Problems with NMC Email or need your password reset?
  • Problems logging into NMC e-mail or need a Password Reset: Contact the Methodist Health System IT Help Desk 24-hours a day at 402.354.2280 (press 0 after 6pm and on weekends to be directed to an Operations Staff member). You are REQUIRED to know your student number in order to reset your password through I.T. If you do not know this number, you will need to speak to the registrar’s office at 402-354-7231. Please refer specifically to your "Network" password (if you reference My Methodist, they will not know how to help you). 

Problems with My Methodist? 
  • Need technical help in My Methodist: Contact the NMC HelpDesk at 402.354.7008 (M-F 7:30 am-6:00 pm) or email NMCHelp@methodistcollege.edu  for assistance.  Include your name and a description of your problem (course number if applicable).  
  • After hours or weekends:  E-mail is the best form of communication.  Response will occur within 24 hours.
