Email Issues

Hello,

We are aware of the email issues when students try and check their emails while on campus. The current link on the left hand side that says "Check NMC E-mail" will take you to https://mobile.bestcare.org but the apps do not work. Here is a workaround that will allow you to check your email.

If you are at home:

Go to https://portal.bestcare.org/my.policy. This is the common site that everyone is used to seeing. You will sign in and it will require you to multi-factor authenticate in order to gain access. Again, this only works when you are home and not on campus with your personal computers.

If you are on campus:

There are two ways to access your email on campus.

If you are going to use your personal computer:

You will need to go to https://www.citrix.com/products/receiver/ and download and install the Citrix Receiver. After you install the Receiver, go to https://mobile.bestcare.org. When you sign in, on the left hand side, click on the plus sign. On the top, click on "All Apps". Scroll down and click on "OWA" or "Outlook 2016". Both of the apps will get you to your email.

If you are going to use a campus computer:

The image below will walk you through on how to use Outlook 2013 on the campus computers. You can go to https://portal.bestcare.org/my.policy but only on the campus computers.

If you have any questions on the workaround please feel free to call (402) 354-7008. If you would like to call in about the email not working on your personal computer while on campus, please call (402) 354-2280.
