Description

Team and Leadership Fundamentals I is designed to provide students the foundation for both leadership and team
building. The topics covered will include listening, followership, problem solving, motivation as well as standards and
accountability to name a few. All these concepts will be applied during activities and class discussions. Students will
also practice and apply their verbal and written communication skills throughout the course. The lessons and course
flow are designed to prepare students for field training and leadership positions in the detachment. Leadership
Laboratory (AER 001) is mandatory for AFROTC cadets and complements this course by providing advanced leadership
experiences in a hands-on, supervised environment. NOTE: This course is offered in partnership with the University of
Nebraska-Omaha.
