Description
National Security and Commissioning Preparation II is designed for college seniors and gives them the foundation to
understand their role as Air or Space Force officers. The topics covered will include base agencies, ethical decisionmaking, leadership authority and responsibility, officer and enlisted evaluations systems as well as career progression
to name a few. As cadet officers in the Air Force ROTC program, students have an opportunity to apply these
leadership and management techniques in a supervised environment. Leadership Laboratory (AER 001) is mandatory
for Air Force ROTC cadets and complements this course by providing advanced leadership experiences in a hands-on,
supervised environment. NOTE: This course is offered in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
