This course explores the function of human resources within the healthcare organization. The focus of the course is on
the development of skills that the department leader needs for effective management of personnel. Subjects include
strategies to attract, hire and retain high-quality employees, compensation and benefits packages, productivity and
employee development, evaluation and training, as well as existing laws and policies surrounding employee relations.
