This course focuses on oral and written communication skills in Spanish through acquisition vocabulary, and grammaticalr structures needed to communicate effectively. Each lesson provides a specific theme centered on daily life and, healthcare situations and introduces grammatical structures and vocabulary in meaningful conversations and interactions. This foundational course also provides an introduction to Latin American countries and cultures, which is key to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and communities.
Prerequisite: COM 230
