Description

This course provides education and exposure to the cultural aspects of the deaf community along with a study of the
social norms, values and traditions intrinsic in the deaf community. A variety of concepts, theories, research and
philosophical debates are explored through the assigned readings, independent work and classroom
activities/discussions.
Credits: 3.0
Prerequisite: COM 362
