Description
This course will focus on the particular ways in which writers apply the writing process to communication modes used
regularly by healthcare professionals. Writing assignments will develop students’ skills in writing in such genres as
formal correspondence, proposals and formal reports. Students will also build skills in integrating effective visual
components into formal documents, as well as skills in designing and developing effective oral presentations.
