Description
This course introduces NMC’s mission, values, Educated Citizen Core and the Core Advocacy Project. Students develop
inquiry skills through the study of critical thinking, mindset principles, and their application to personal, contemporary,
and professional contexts. Students will engage in selected concepts of professional communication that allow them to
articulate and present their ideas effectively. Students will initiate their Core Advocacy Project after familiarizing
themselves with NMC’s mission and values, examining their personal values and passions, and exploring community
needs.
