Description
This course introduces the fundamental principles of evaluating general abdominal organs and extended small parts
using ultrasound. Students will learn relevant anatomy, physiology, sonographic landmarks, scanning techniques, and
protocols, with an emphasis on the normal sonographic appearance of structures. A concurrent laboratory component
will reinforce lecture content through hands-on practice, focusing on ultrasound knobology, image optimization, and
clinical protocols to promote integrated learning and skill development.
