Description
In this advanced course, students learn pediatric and musculoskeletal ultrasound and deepen their understanding of
anatomy, pathology, physiology, and sonographic imaging of normal and abnormal structures learned in DMS 226 &
DMS 227. Emphasis is placed on developing skills for composing detailed diagnostic reports, effectively gathering
pertinent patient history, and understanding a sonographer’s critical role in supporting ultrasound-guided procedures
once pathology is identified.
