Description
This course will focus on applying ultrasound as a diagnostic tool for evaluating the abdomen, small parts, 2nd
trimester fetus and all related structures. Coursework will include techniques for proper identification and
representation of the normal anatomical structures as well as demonstrations and discussion on the proper scanning
techniques and positioning utilized to obtain optimum diagnostic images. Lab will build on the principles of DMS 223.
