Description
A continuation of Obstetrics Ultrasound I, this course will place emphasis on fetal anomalies that can occur across the
gestational period. Importance will be placed on identification of the pathological processes, sonographic appearances,
correlation with the clinical history and diagnostic testing or procedures and clinical management options. Topics will
include, but are not limited to, maternal diseases and potential fetal consequences, multiple gestation, management of
high-risk pregnancies, assessment of fetal well-being, the role of Doppler, interventional procedures and advanced
technologies currently used in obstetrics. Abnormal case studies will be reviewed.
