Description

This course provides the theoretical foundation for role development and skills required to identify health needs at a
population level and strategies to improve population outcomes. The course focus is on translational research and the
application of evidence-based concepts essential to the advancement of population-based health. Analysis of the
impact of social, cultural, and ecological systems across various populations will be emphasized throughout the course.
Credits: 3.0 with 2-day on-campus intensive.
