Description
This survey history course facilitates exploration of the history of Western Civilization from ancient times through the
age of European exploration utilizing archaeology, works of fiction, news media and secondary sources. The course
provides opportunities for students to employ creative means of exploring history, become familiar with basic research
skills and hone creative and scholarly writing skills.
