Description

Survey of world history from the Bronze Age to 1650 CE. Primary emphasis on the development and function of
political, economic, social, and military institutions over time. Topics include social stratification, urban
continuity/discontinuity, rise of local, regional, long-distance trade networks and the wars they triggered.
Credits: 3.0
Prerequisites: COM 101
