Description
HUM 390 fulfills the requirements for either HUM 220: World of Ideas: The Arts or HUM 225: World of Ideas: Historical
Perspectives. This team-taught hybrid course offers a first-hand introduction to the history, arts and cultural society of
the designated travel site. The travel abroad experience will include an introduction to healthcare systems of other
cultures, including at least one hospital tour for students to interact with providers, educators and students from
another health system. The course may include more than one culture and may be repeated as different cultures are
visited.

Prerequisite: Submit the trip application as well as any necessary forms and pay for the trip in full.
