Description
Students will learn commonly occurring acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions requiring nursing intervention.
Emphasis is placed on nutrition, communication, cultural competence, and the development of clinical judgment. In
the clinical setting, students will apply nursing skills, administer medications, and provide patient-centered care under
supervision in structured healthcare environments.
Credits: 9.0 (5 theory, 4 clinical = 180 clinical hours)
