Description

This introductory course provides a foundation for population health nursing along the continuum of wellbeing
emphasizing healthy individuals. Students will be introduced to population health focused on improving health
outcomes across systems at the local, state, and national level. Students will examine the fundamental concepts of
safety, health promotion, health disparities, pain, caring, development, nutrition, determinants of health, and
evidence.
