Description

In this course, students are introduced to public health concepts and principles. Emphasis is on the core functions of
public health: assessment, policy development and assurance. Content focuses on the epidemiology and special needs
of aggregates at risk. Current and changing healthcare trends are critically analyzed in relation to local, state, national
and global conditions and policies.
