Description

The directed study allows students the opportunity to complete a course of study when there is a deficiency in course
requirements. It is determined by the BSN Program Director.
Credits: 0 – 6.0
Prerequisites: Permission of the BSN Program Director or Academic Dean ofNursing.
Credit Hours:
†0.5 credit hours - students who left NMC for two or more semesters and only need clinical
†skills
†1.0 credit hours - students who left NMC for two or more semesters and need didactic content
†and clinical skills
†1.5 credit hours - student bridging from the Community Based curriculum to the Population
†Health curriculum (includes didactics content, laboratory and/or clinical skills)
†2.0 credit hours - students who left NMC for two or more semesters and need to bridge from
†the Community Based curriculum to the Population Health curriculum (includes didactics
†content, laboratory and/or clinical skills)
†0.5-6.0 credits hours - for special a circumstance(s) - to be determine
