This non-clinical nursing elective course provides an opportunity for students to gain insights to the history of the
nursing profession in an online environment. The course employs various activities to examine the history of nursing.
Historical figures, events and contemporary issues will be analyzed to promote understanding of the evolution of
professional nursing.
