This course introduces the core concepts of healthcare informatics as applied in nursing practice. The course highlights
the use of technology in promoting patient safety, quality improvement, and effective leadership in healthcare
environments. Ethical and legal considerations are evaluated alongside applications of technology to improve patient
outcomes within complex healthcare systems. The course examines the role of informatics in documentation,
communication, and coordination across healthcare systems while emphasizing adherence to policies and regulatory
