Description

In this course, students integrate previous academic/experiential learning into the development of curricula and
programs. Students will employ evidence and theory in curricular design and course content development within
higher education and healthcare programs. Students will develop course and programmatic assessment and evaluation
methods. Students examine the function of accrediting bodies within nursing education. The incorporation of
practicum hours enriches the learning experience through application of program planning
practices.
Credits: 4.0
Prerequisites: All program coursework except NRS 524, NRS 592, and NRS 594, or by permission
