Description

In this course, students explore behavioral science literature and theories that are relevant to the study of individual
and group behavior within healthcare organizations. Students will gain an understanding of how and why people and
groups behave the way they do in the workplace. Theories and concepts related to motivation, change, chaos,
complexity, crisis, communication, team building, healthy work environments, toxic organizations, conflict resolution,
and organizational development, structure and culture is explored.
Credits: 3.0
Prerequisites: NRS 509 or by permission
