Description

This course examines the theoretical principles that guide practice of the Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN). Emphasis
will be placed on the four APRN roles (Certified Nurse Midwife, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Practitioner, Certified
Registered Nurse Anesthetist) and their common functions which include clinician, clinical leader, and educator.
