Description
This practicum course serves as the foundation for the subsequent practicum courses. This clinical practicum provides
adult gerontology nurse practitioner students with the opportunity to integrate and apply theoretical knowledge and
clinical skills acquired during their academic coursework. Emphasizing a patient-centered approach, this practicum
focuses on the delivery of comprehensive evidence based health care to the adult and older adult population. Students
will engage in supervised clinical experience in an internal medicine outpatient setting.
