Description

This practicum course serves as the foundation for the subsequent practicum courses. This clinical practicum provides
family nurse practitioner students with the opportunity to integrate and apply theoretical knowledge and clinical skills
acquired during their academic coursework. Emphasizing a patient-centered approach, this practicum focuses on the
delivery of comprehensive evidence based health care across the life span. Students will engage in supervised clinical
experience in a primary care outpatient setting.
Credits: 3.0 / 180 clinical hours
Prerequisites: NRS 706, NRS 802
