Description

This course provides an advanced theoretical foundation to develop the knowledge and skills required in care delivery
specifically for the older adult addressing acute and chronic health issues most commonly experienced by older adults.
Primary, secondary and tertiary levels of disease prevention and health promotion in the community, outpatient and
inpatient settings are examined.
Credits: 3.0
Prerequisite: NRS 802
