Description

This practicum course provides family nurse practitioner students with the opportunity to integrate and apply
theoretical knowledge and clinical skills acquired during their academic coursework. Emphasizing a patient-centered
approach, this practicum focuses on the delivery of comprehensive evidence-based health care across the life span,
with emphasis on the pediatric and women’s health population. Students will engage in supervised clinical experience
in an outpatient setting.
Credits: 3.0 / 180 clinical hours
Prerequisites/Corequisites: NRS 806, NRS 812 and NRS 822
