Description
The scholarship process for advancing professional theory, practice and application are examined. Critiques of existing
research, use of literature to make evidence based decisions and the understanding of descriptive, correlational and
inferential quantitative and qualitative studies are included. Research designs, methodologies, interpretation of
statistics and the implications for practice are addressed. Expectations for conducting a graduate research capstone
and a written scholarly report are initiated. This course meets online.
