Description

The therapeutic use of orthosis, prosthesis and physical agent modalities to address clients’ needs to enhance
participation and engagement in valued occupations are addressed within this course. Current evidence and use of the
adjunctive methods are analyzed including application protocols, contraindications and safety procedures. Skills in the
design, fabrication, application, ethics and reimbursement issues are addressed within a laboratory component.
Lecture for this course is online and lab is face-to-face
