You will learn:

•Basic medical terms

•How to decipher complex medical terms

•How to direct people to the correct physician or department

 

Understanding medical terminology will:

•Improve customer service

•Improve patient satisfaction

•Improve safety and care

 

To get started on this course go to the tab labeled Introduction. After the Introduction go to Module 1. Each module will have both content and a review activity. You must view the content and then do the review for each module before continuing to the next one. All modules are listed on the left side of your screen. You may start and stop as many times as needed while taking this course. Once all modules are complete please take the Post Test. You must receive an 80% or higher on the Post Test to pass this course. You will have a second attempt if you do not pass the test the first time. Enjoy your learning!
