Purpose Statement
This online course offers training for an individual interested in learning an easy to use and step by step methodology for facilitating continuous improvement activities in a variety of settings. Although focused in the healthcare venue, successful completion of the course will allow the student to solve problems and make improvements in any organization.

  • The 8 steps of the A3 process and how to apply them
  • Various Lean tools and how/when to apply them

1.5 Education hours.  Nebraska Methodist College Division of Professional Development assigns education hours based on 60 minutes of classroom instruction for each offering.  Participants may use these for their professional continuing education hours and toward re-licensure if so approved within the standards and guidelines of their discipline.

Successful Completion Requirements

In order to receive Continuing Education contact hours for this course please complete the following Required steps:

  • Participants are expected to review all course content and complete the entire course.
  • Pass the "post test assessment with a score of 80% or higher
  • Completion of the program evaluation (located on the left) is required within 30 days of passing the test.
