Description

This course emphasizes the effects of radiation on living systems and the principles of protection against that impact.
This course explores the effect of radiation on the human body, including cells, tissues and the body as a whole. There
is a deep exploration of the biological reactions to radiation, including acute and chronic effects. This course
emphasizes the radiographer's responsibilities for ensuring radiation protection for patients, personnel and the public.
