Description

This course explores the natural process behind x-ray production. Topics include electrodynamics, magnetism,
generators and motors, production and control of high voltage, x-ray circuitry and the properties of x-rays. Course
discussion will also include total quality management of a radiology department, exploring the theory and practice of
quality assurance. The use of department quality assurance test tools, interpretation, results and management of a
quality assurance program through record keeping is presented.
Credits: 3.0
