Description

This course is designed to prepare the graduate student to understand the clinical and public health aspects of basic
epidemiology. It provides a comprehensive study of epidemiology in relation to healthcare practice, public health and
health policies. The major concepts of study will include health and health risks, disease causality and strategies to
reduce the incidence and prevalence of health problems with specific populations.
Credits: 3.0
Prerequisite or Corequisites: SSC 730 or evidence of a graduate-level statistics course
