Dr. Stephanie LaPuma, Ph.D, MA, MBA.  Associate Dean of Health Professions, Nebraska Methodist College

Dr. LaPuma is a graduate of Nebraska Methodist College having received an AS in respiratory therapy and a BS in Allied Health during the late 1990s. She also has a MA in Management and an MBA from Bellevue University. In 2015, she completed her Doctorate of Philosophy in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University.  Her dissertation topic was: Investigating the Moderating Effects of Generational Identity on Transformational Leadership and Employee Well-Being.

She was previously employed at Bellevue University as an Assistant Professor and Director of Curriculum Development. As the Director she worked to ensure students were receiving current and relevant content in the most effective pedagogical way. She taught in the undergraduate and graduate Health Care Administration/Management Programs. Previously she was a Respiratory Therapist practicing in home-care for 10 years.

Stacey Nelson is the Academic Advisor and Outreach Coordinator for the HOM program.  Stacey has 12 years of experience working in higher education.  She has  worked as an instructor, recruiter and academic advisor at colleges throughout the midwest. Stacey’s  Master’s Degree is in Counseling, with a specialization in College Student Personnel.
