• WBC =25,000; Hgb 13.0; platelet count 94,000; INR 2.4 (no anticoagulants)

• Blood sugar 156 mg/dL; crt 3.8 mg/dL (baseline 1.1), lactate 4.5 mmol/L,

• CXR = Bilateral pulmonary infiltrates

• O2 on at 4 L/min to maintain SpO2 >90%

• Confused and slow to respond (No sedatives)
