Description
This course is an overview of general, organic and biological chemistry with an emphasis on applications to health
sciences. This course will introduce students to the basic knowledge of the properties of the matter, its reactions, and
classifications. The course will discuss the main organic compounds and their properties as well as include some basic
biochemistry principles. The course is accompanied by laboratory exercises which follows the material discussed.
