Description
This course provides an overview of contemporary health care systems and organizations. Within this overview,
research, health policy, regulation, and law are examined from the perspective of how these factors shape health care
organizations. Available technology to interpret and organize health data is investigated in relation to health system
productivity. This course synthesizes leadership and systems theory into understanding the health care industry and
becoming a leader in patient-centered care.
