Description

In this course, students learn about their role as a nurse educator and the nursing education environment. Adult
learning characteristics and behaviors will be assimilated into the learning environment. The functionality of learning
theories and nursing clinical judgment models within nursing education will be investigated. Students will incorporate
current nursing knowledge of motivation, learning styles, and interprofessional education into the higher education
setting. The implications of technology, diversity, inclusion, and equality will be explored within the role as a nurse
educator.
Credits: 3.0
Prerequisites: NRS 502 or by permission
