Description

This practicum course provides family nurse practitioner students with the opportunity to integrate and apply
theoretical knowledge and clinical skills acquired during their academic coursework. Emphasizing a patient-centered
approach, this practicum focuses on the delivery of comprehensive evidence based health care across the life span.
Students will engage in supervised clinical experience in a primary care outpatient or specialty medicine setting.
Credits: 3.0 /180 clinical hours
Prerequisite: NRS 826
