Description
The second in a series of four Level I fieldwork experiences, immerses students in community-based occupational
therapy practice within mental and behavioral health settings. Students apply foundational skills in client interaction,
therapeutic intervention, and documentation for mental health practice. Through supervised fieldwork, students
deepen their clinical competencies and professional documentation abilities while gaining practical exposure to the
diverse needs of mental health populations. Assigned fieldwork placements provide valuable, hands-on experience in
real-world settings, reinforcing core clinical and professional expectations. Course meets face to face.
