Description
Occupational Therapy's role in the design and use of assistive technologies, adaptations and environmental
modifications to enhance safety and occupational performance, participation and engagement across the lifespan is
addressed. Learning experiences include the assessment, design, selection, and use of technologies, adaptations and
modifications. Client's needs, personal environments, communities, organizations and practice settings are analyzed
for accessibility, needed modifications and compliance with accessibility regulations. This course is hybrid.
