This week, we cover the areas of Female/Male Genitourinary System, Assessing the Abdomen, Assessing the Breasts, and Nutrition. Through readings, disucssion and assessment, you will meet the following objectives:

Objectives:
  • Identify pertinent history questions related to the assessment of the breast, abdomen, and genitourinary systems.
  • Perform an assessment of the breasts, abdomen, and genitourinary system identifying normal from abnormal findings.
  • Perform a nutritional assessment being mindful of how culture, ethnicity, and environment influence food consumption.
  • Document assessment data collected along with identification of actual and potential problems.
