Hello all

Many of us have been working together to provide one location to find the latest information regarding online teaching tools. Information and resources are rapidly changing, please check back here often for the latest information and resources.  By leveraging all of tools we have and working as team we can get through this together!

You will have two primary methods in which you can continue to deliver courses: 1) "Live" delivery via tools such as  Webex, Google, Zoom and Go To Meeting also called synchronous and 2) Recorded delivery via screen recording and MyMethodist called asynchronous.

In the modules to the left you will find a number of resources to help you navigate this challenging landscape.  These resources include video training on the tools as well as written step by step guides to help you through.  We will continue to update these resources as quickly as we can.

I have also included a sample structure of a one week module from ACUE (Association of College and University Educators) that helps to breakup long lectures into smaller chunks.  This may help in planning your online sessions.

I would encourage all of you to take this opportunity to explore both of these options.  My guess is that it will be a mixture of the two approaches that will provide the best experience for both you and your students.  I also expect that we are all going to learn a lot about new teaching tools and approaches in a very short amount of time.  Take some time to enjoy and learn through the new experiences.

Feel free to contact me via cell phone at 402-906-9464.

Thanks
